We talk about condos versus apartments, the ADOT transfer of property, and the infrastructure that will need to be provided with a public and private partnership. This is a great podcast and an answer some of the questions that I've heard from Oro Valley residents.
I've got some thoughts about the 2 1/2 hour meeting that was on January 5, 2022. Town West made a presentation for the redevelopment of the Oro Valley marketplace. The marketplace is certainly in need of revitalization. Town West provided their vision, here are my thoughts.

Anne Marie Braswell the Community Relations Manager for Golder Ranch fire department talks about safety during the holidays. We all think that tragedy is something that happens to someone else. More transparency is coming to Oro Valley from our government. Listen to the podcast and you'll find that not only will the board and commission meetings have audio [which they already have] and now they will have video. This is a major step forward for our community.
Mark Johnson and I discuss the recent meeting at the local drought impact group. We continued to be in a serious drought and the foreseeable future does not look good. We need more snowpack to supplement the Colorado River water. This meeting occurs every two months and provides an update on our current drought conditions.

The CAP representative presented a very well-rounded presentation on the future of water in southern Arizona. Statistics were given that provided valuable insight into the future of water not only for Oro Valley but also for the state of Arizona. This is an interesting presentation and I believe that water should be an important campaign topic in the forthcoming 2022 town Council election.
