Oromo's first music and culture festival in Finfinne in 1977. It was just get together!
They came together from all parts of Oromia for the first time since the Oromos were conquered, broken and fell under the Abyssinian colony. It was the turning point where the Oromo could come together and show off their cultural music and dances after being completely separated from the gathering for more than 100 years.
The content of staged kinds of music was about freedom, liberation, oppression and cursing of a VERY  backward COLONIZATION that has been imposed on our people.
