For my choice, I’m reaching back to the end of our first season, which we concluded with a series called ‘Ultimate Hope Has a Name’. The first episode in that series opened the door to a great four-episode discussion of what Christian hope is ultimately about. We brought Old Testament, New Testament, history, theology, and the early Church into the conversation in the kind of collaboration that I think makes Orthodocs.faith unique.”

It may sound odd, but I’m convinced that if I’ve got anything worth saying to the world, it’s what I said about God in my monologue there. I enjoyed how we got to play that out in the subsequent discussion.”

After feeding more than 5,000 people, Jesus sent the disciples ahead of him in a boat while he stayed behind. But when they ran into trouble, Jesus walked out to them on the water. Mark tells us that Jesus went to “pass by” them, but that probably means much more than most of us realize. John and Ron look at this and other surprises in the dramatic and well-known story from Mark 6.
