Oscar Mike Radio

Travis met Keith at the first Dale Dorman Media Day in April 2016. It was there that the idea for Oscar Mike Radio began to come together.

Six years ago, this show was getting ready to “drop” its #1. Keith and I are still learning and improving. Check out “The Resilient Warrior”, now on Amazon! Thank you for all the support. So go to Whoobazoo.com to learn more, Keith will get your show dialed in as he did mine!

Keith and I liked Top Gun Maverick as pure entertainment but had some bones to pick for sure. What do you think?

I met Julie a couple of years ago and we talked about her cousin Matthew who lost his life in Afghanistan.  I learned a lot about his service to our country and the legacy his family works to keep alive.

Matthew’s family came together to create the SSG Matthew Pucino Foundation. The goal is to keep Matthew’s memory alive by providing help to those Veterans in need.

The 12thannual Blackbeard ride takes place July 10th, and there is still time to get tickets.

I was asked the question, “How can civilians get involved to advocate for our military and veterans?”. I told the person that Alex Jimenez and what he does with his business, AJ Nashville is the blueprint other civilians can follow.

I met Alex Jimenez at his presentation of the Echelon Front Leadership Class conducted by U.S Navy Seal Andrew Paul. Alex collaborated with Operation Stand Down Tennessee to present this event.

Alex is a mortgage broker. He started with Veterans in 2007 and is now a certified military mortgage boot camp instructor for the state of Tennessee. His passion to help Veterans comes from being in a military family. This passion is evident in every facet of his business.

As Alex said his website is the “hub” to connect with him. Go to www.ajnashville.com to find out more about Alex and what he does. He also has a podcast on SoundCloud, so get connected.

It doesn’t matter that you did not serve in the military, you can still serve those who did.

Long before he became the Tennesee VFW State Commander, Brian Walker asked me to talk with Dave Rogers. Dave was living in NY and cooking for his VFW post. It was from there that he started streaming his cooking.

Growing up in New York, Dave started cooking early in life. He joined the National Guard and supported his home state during 9/11. Medically separated due to his service, Dave had to find himself again. He started cooking as a way to heal.

Cooking for others gave Dave a sense of purpose. He then worked to develop his Cooking with a Veteran show. Contact Dave as he is looking for sponsorship as he grows his show.

From Dayton Ohio to Nashville, Anna Lynn Ferris has made music her life’s work. Starting out with Bluegrass, she has moved into country music and is pursuing her career in Nashville.

Anna was at Tennessee VFW State Commander Brian Walker’s event at the Collierville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5066. She was supporting Chris Turner and stepped in last minute to fill in for an artist. She put on a high-energy set. It was amazing to watch.
