Hi it’s Mina being more conscious about how to introduce myself properly after knowing this 8-second rule of impressions. Today we talked about how to introduce yourself both in an informal situation and a formal situation.

🇯🇵日本語だと苗字から自己紹介することが多いですが、砕けた場だと下の名前から自己紹介することも一般的になりましたね。In Japanese, we usually start with our family names to introduce ourselves, but in an informal situation, starting with your first name is becoming common too.

会話に出てきたフレーズの一部を紹介します🗣

In 🇯🇵, I frequently use phrases like はじめまして。(Hajimemashite) and then, state my name here, よろしくお願いします。(Yoroshikuonegaishimasu) and Bob’s your uncle! (Everything will be alright!)
