Telander here, and before we get to this week’s Firsts episode started, we wanted to take a moment to address the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe versus Wade on June 24th, 2022. Everyone should have the freedom to decide what is best for themselves and their families, including when it comes to ending a pregnancy. Abortion is a basic healthcare need for millions of people of all genders, and this decision has far-reaching consequences for every single person in America. People, not politicians, should be able to make their own decisions including when it comes to abortion care. We have more information linked at choice.crd.co, and if you are able, consider donating to abortion funds. Please speak up, take care, and spread the word.  
As you know, I was very happy to announce recently that the Ostium Podcast has joined the Rusty Quill Network. And for the last few months I’ve started listening to some of the great shows that are part of that network, and then I started chatting with the creator of one of those shows, and in the coming weeks you’re going to get a treat here on the Ostium feed with the first episodes of some of those shows. As a huge of of post-apocalyptic shows and King Arthur mythology, I am delighted to introduce to this great new show . . . Camlann.
Camlann is a post-apocalyptic urban fantasy podcast inspired by folklore and Arthurian legends. It's written and directed by Ella Watts (Doctor Who: Redacted, Eliza: A Robot Story), and produced by Amber Devereux at Tin Can Audio (The Tower, Folxlore), with production management from Ross McFarlane (Folxlore). The show is made possible with funding from Creative Scotland and the Inevitable Foundation.

Well, here we are again at another season finale. Sometimes I find it hard to accept that Ostium has had six seasons, but then I think about how much more story there is to tell and I just get so excited about what’s to come. And for reference, we’re at the halfway point in the Ostium narrative right now. At least for this series, but that’s all I’m going to say about that. I know it took a long time to get this whole season out to the world and I would like to thank everyone for their patience in that. There’s a lot going on in the world right now, both in the public space and in our private lives, and sometimes there are delays we can’t avoid. So thanks again for sticking around. I would also like to thank the incredible people I have working for me in Team Ostium. Thank you to Chris, Georgia and Emily. I’m very excited to see where our story goes next. Thank you to Mike Nye, a true magician when it comes to sound design. You turn words and dialogue into magical stories that come to life. Couldn’t do it without you, mate!
