Senior wide receiver Brennan Presley is one of seven kids. Growing up with that many siblings, he's naturally competitive and claims to be the best athlete in the family. It's hard to doubt him. Presley is a big-time foodie and has lists of food challenges he wants to try. But his present focus is on football. He knows the Cowboys have to lock in if they want to be in Dallas in Decemeber.

Fouad Messoudi grew up in Morocco. The first time he came to the United States was when he was moving into his dorm at Oklahoma State. All he knew about the US is what he saw in movies. Messaoudi’s American Dream includes running track for Oklahoma State. So far, he’s had quite the success. He’s an All-American in Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor track. He’s a double indoor national champ in the distance medley and 3000 meters. He also helped the Cowboys to anothing Big 12 Cross Country title earlier this month. Next up for the Cowboys, the NCAA Cross Country Championship in Charlottesville, Virginia. For Messaoudi, it’s a shot at redemption for last year’s tiebreak second place finish.

A shift in mindset is what Oklahoma State linebacker Collin Oliver attributes to the rise of the Cowboys in 2023. In this special edition of the Pokes Pod, get to know Oliver and take a look back at the big Bedlam win over Oklahoma.

When Jacie Hoyt took over as head coach of the Oklahoma State women’s basketball program last year, her impact was felt immediately. She led the Cowgirls to a 21-12 record while becoming the first coach to earn an NCAA Tournament berth in their first season at the helm. Making the tournament this season is now the expectation. Even with all the new faces in the locker room, Hoyt believes this is the most competitive team she’s ever coached. She keeps her team motivated by awarding hype points at practices and games. She’s even bringing a new twist this season—that will be revealed soon. Either way, hype remains the foundation of Cowgirl Basketball.
