This is a brief episode to remind our listeners that we are being very vulnerable in sharing our stories. Lindsay is in a unique position with her cohosts: While she has a strong relationship with her step-son's bio-mom, she also has her as a co-host. Many of the stories shared will involve Franci. Recognizing that some of these stories my not reflect well on her as the bio-mom, Lindsay is asking for consent to share their stories, and also asking the audience to withstand judgment as best they can: the people in our stories about have grown. While it is difficult to not practice our own for of revisionist history, Ellen, Franci, and Lindsay believe very strongly that the stories of our fumbles and mistakes will help other mothers- biological and steps! This is about creating better environments for everyone, so thank you for accepting our vulnerability.
