We talk about diversity in the workplace and in schools, but we rarely examine the makeup of our close circles. In this episode, my friend Kaia and I have an uncomfortable but much-needed conversation about cross-racial friendships and more specifically our cross-racial friendship. We talk about our upbringings and how they shaped how we view friendships today through the lens of race in America.

It's AAPI heritage month in the US and with the #stopAAPIhate campaign underway, I wanted to share what I've learned about the Asian American community in the US.
