On this episode of Other Voices, we meet a man of many talents - a rapper, poet, musician, clothes designer, and mixed media visual artist - Kojey Radical.  A native of London, with Ghanian roots, Kojey’s music is thought-provoking, forward-thinking and singular in its reflection of his background and politics.  In 2016, he joined us in Dingle, for a performance in the church of St. James’ and ahead of that show he spoke with Robbie Kitt about his artistic vision and creative approach.

Few people have made a name for themselves quite so quickly as Dermot Kennedy.  The Kildare singer-songwriter, is a product of his era.  Known across the world, with millions of streams of Spotify and endorsement from Taylor Swift, he’s one of our biggest musical exports of recent times.  Last year Dermot joined us in Dingle to perform in the church of St. James. Ahead of his performance, he had a quick chat with MayKay about his songwriting development and musical influences.

From last year's Ireland's Edge conference in Dingle, we're delighted to bring you this conversation with documentary director and feature film editor Emer Reynolds.  Over the last two decades Emer's work has spanned feature films, TV drama and documentary.  A graduate of Physics & Maths at Trinity College Dublin, she has had a lifelong passion for space exploration.  Emer's most recent project 'The Farthest: Voyager In Space' won the 2018 Emmy for outstanding Science & Technology documentary.  In this podcast, Emer speaks with Emmet Connolly about the award winning-documentary and her work.

Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh and Cormac Begley are two of Ireland’s finest exponents of traditional Irish music. As part of The Gloaming, Caoimhín has performed on some of the most beautiful stages in the world, including Sydney Opera House, the Royal Albert Hall and Lincoln Center. Cormac is a Dingle native, steeped in the Irish tradition, and founder of Airt, the local music school integral to teaching new generations about their musical heritage.  The duo came together for one of their earliest public performances in the church of St. James for Other Voices, and before that performance they spoke to Danny Carroll about their collaboration.

The Ireland's Edge podcast brings you illuminating conversations with insightful minds.  On this, the inaugural episode of the series, we meet Max Schrems.  An Austrian activist and privacy campaigner, Max has played a central role in influencing Irish data regulation and protection.  Known as "the man who took on Facebook and won", Max has been tirelessly campaigning for greater data protection from the social media giant since 2011.  He was the keynote speaker at Ireland's Edge 'A Coded Culture' Event in Trinity College, where he spoke with Dr Nora Ní Loideain.

English duo Mount Kimbie are one of the foremost groups in electronic music today. Last year, they joined us in St. James' Church showcasing songs from their excellent third album Love What Survives. Before their performance, Dominic Maker and Kai Campos, sat down with Robbie Kitt, to talk about their musical evolution over the last decade.
