Part 1 of two episode series with professional soccer player Sonny Guadarrama.   

Sonny is an Austin native, graduated from Cedar Park HS, attended to Campbell University and played for several teams such as Santos Laguna, Mérida F.C, Necaxa, Dorados de Sinaloa, San Antonio FC & Austin Bold.  

In this episode he shared his experience of how he grew up playing soccer in Austin and when he decided to move to Mexico to chase his dreams.

David is originally from the Rio Grande Valley region in Texas. 

He shared his beginnings as a cinematographer and discussed the arduous process of directing "Tejano".

"if it's working, why break it?". 

Guest Edgar Argumedo discussed his experience as how he grew up in Los Angeles, California, became a barber and embarked his journey as an entrepreneur after relocating to Austin by founding Olde Soul Barbershop.   

"Training in the Worst Case Scenario" Michael Chabala played for the Houston Dynamo, Portland Timbers, & DC United. 

After retirement he became an entrepreneur and founded of Sphere, a soccer inspired fitness program. Michael shared his experiences as a professional soccer player and his motivation to assimilate the energy of playing with a team into his business. 

He wants to authentically connect people through soccer and welcomes everyone that is interested into his community of Sphere.   

"I Feel Very Hopeful" Vanessa Fuentes is the Austin City Council and represents District 2. 

She is the only sixth Latina to ever run for city council and second to be elected. 

Vanessa shared her experience as a servant to the community and how her humble upbringings molded the leadership role.  

"It's Like Glamour, Nope, No It Isn't" Michelle Sanchez is a producer for Telemundo Austin. 

Michelle shared her experiences of working the mass media industry and how she is striving to be a pioneer for women in sports. 

We also discussed Austin FC's current situation and how the fans are adjusting to the city having a new soccer team.
