"Harvesting the Gifts of the Ancestors is a mediation or ritual that Joanna Macy wrote as part of her Work That Reconnects. I performed the ritual at one of her workshops and noticed immediately that it was Eurocentric. I was later asked by her and her staff to rewrite it.
