Today I'm interviewing my first guest for the Rise Up, Mamas! show!

I will be interviewing one special mom per month to allow her to share her journey through motherhood. Many of these moms are authors, fellow podcasters, and social media influencers and entrepreneurs, but some are stay-home moms and homeschooling moms simply being CEOs of their lives. 

Anita Kovacevic is a happily married mother of 2 from Croatia. When I thought about who I wanted to interview first on this show, I knew it would be Anita. She and I connected on Facebook nearly eight years ago, and she has been one of my biggest cheerleaders in my publishing journey. 

She's the author of 18 solo titles and 8 collaborative works. She writes everything from poetry and adult fiction to children's books. A couple years ago, Anita was struck by a sudden illness that left her blind for over ten months. 

In this podcast, she shares how her children stepped up and joined her process of writing and publishing books to allow her to continue to follow her dream.
