Noah and Elias spend a little time talking about their weeks as well as talking about wedding traditions and then they dive right into the Feature Presentation. Noah takes the time to lay out how in Star Wars Luke Skywalker and his father Anakin complete each others' character arcs by Luke's ability to display what being a real Jedi means. Then Elias goes to take a look at the film Lost in Translation to discuss how the film shows what it is like to find something that breathes new life into the way that you see the world even as everything around you tells you that you should be happy and fulfilled.

Elias and Noah talk about how boring there weeks have been so then they settle on answering a silly icebreaker question instead. After that Elias talks about Death on the Nile and how people will build up different types of love as an alter while at the end of the day all love not rooted in God is destined to fall short and be rooted in sin. Noah however talks about Batman Begins and shows how Batman, even though he does not live directly in Gotham, has still decided that it is his to protect and watch over and help to make it into a better place.

Today Noah and Elias get together and enjoy catching up and talking about their weeks before they talk about how The Spiderwick Chronicles shows us how desperately Satan will do anything to try and keep us from the truth of God, and failing how he will do whatever he can to strike us down before we make a decision. We also go and look at Spider-Man No Way Home to see how Peter Parker is fighting so hard to redeem the unredeemable throughout the film and is willing to sacrifice everything to try and make that chance that someone can be redeemed a reality.

Today Noah and Elias get together to talk about their weeks and the they jump right into the feature presentation to discuss the messages they have noticed in this weeks films. Noah is shocked to learn that Elias has never seen The Truman Show and then gives him a quick run down of the plot and explains how the devil will do everything that he can to keep us trapped in the lies that he has built around us as we live out our lives yearning for what is just beyond in the real world. Then Elias talks about Hercule Poirot in the book/film Murder on the Orient Express and how he is willing to sacrifice himself and his own self-image in order to save and protect those around him.

In this episode Noah and Elias gear up for Valentine's Day by talking about... Spider-Man and anime? Eh, either way Elias talks about good stewardship in the film Princess Mononoke while Noah goes to Spider-Man 3 to see how even after we have walked away from our old life of sin we still have work to do since our old past actions still have consequences. How very romantic.

It's been awhile! But after a bit of a forced vacation Elias and Noah are back to talk about the films Encanto and The Lighthouse. Noah discusses how in Encanto different family members are differently, but equally blessed by the Encanto just as we as Christians are differently blessed by the spirit. Then Elias discusses how sin can take over our lives as seen in the film The Lighthouse.

After taking a little break for the holidays Noah and Elias are back at it to talk about what they have been up to the past few weeks and then afterwards they jump right into the Feature Presentation. This week Noah talks about Spider-Man 2 and how like Peter we can feel like God is leaving us, when in reality we are the ones leaving him and falling into sin just because times are hard. Elias then talks about Shang-Chi and how we can be led by things that we think are good and from God, but on closer inspection turn out to be the Devil lying to us and attempting to deceive us.

A special episode just to talk about some things in the Christmas story that you might not have thought about. Noah and Elias have a little bit of fun discussing what the meaning behind the gifts that were given to Jesus are as well as how Mary and Joseph help as signposts that point to two very different types of faith as well as how they are completely valid.

Noah and Elias talk about their weeks and how Elias had somehow just watched Elf for the first time ever. Afterwards Noah talks about how in Elf Buddy is a prime example of a cross cultural missionary; then Elias goes and brings up how Charlie Brown shows us that even in the times when we feel most distant from God, if we just cling to the truth of the cross that is enough to save us.

Noah and Elias have a not-so-quick conversation about their weeks and share a couple of laughs before diving into the much meatier topic which is, "What Christian message can be pulled out of our movies this week?" Noah talks about one of his all time favorite pieces of media in A Christmas Carol and relates how Scrooge goes through his journey to how we are confronted with God. Then Elias talks about one of his favorite Christmas movies, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and the trope of someone being grouchy on Christmas before being opened up by the end of the film by the contagious Christmas spirit.
