Elysia has enjoyed a deep connection to horses since her youth. Horses' hearts create a very large energetic sphere--larger than that of humans--and it helps people to connect. This exchange of energy helps people become more aware of their own mind-body connection and more attuned to non-verbal communication. Through working with horses, people can better relate to their own energies.

Elysia Buss is originally from Olympia and Seattle, Washington and landed in Charlottesville, Virginia mid-February 2021 after touring the United States for four and a half months promoting the two Global Men's Summits she created, as well as interviewing people in partnership with horses to increase visibility for the equine industry.

She is a relationship coach, clinician, and founder of Global Equine Affiliates. She is the host of the YouTube channel "Horse Power: Empowerment through Connection" where she showcases people from around the world who are empowering people and horses as they vulnerably share their personal stories.

The other day was Intuition Day around here.

Actually, every day is Intuition Day, but because we're in Our Conscious Playground and we're having fun, we decided to name it. There you go! You heard it here first.

What is Intuition Day, then? Well, you can call it by any number of names. Some may refer to it as a Mental Health Day, a Me Day, or even just a much-needed break. It is where we block time off to listen to ourselves, to ask questions and receive the answers.

This is a designated day, or a designated block of time. We can all feel when it's needed. You know when it's needed. You just know. This is the same as you just know when you aren't honoring your intuition, i.e. when you aren't honoring yourself. 

So what do you do? Join us on this episode of Our Conscious Playground as we share our own Intuition Day activities. You will be inspired to book an Intuition Day of your own!

Oooh, Making a Decision. Today we play with that!

First of all, why is this important? Why bring this to Our Conscious Playground? (Lisa, it's my turn on the swings!)

Every day we make many, many decisions. When you think about it, life presents us with hundreds of micro-decisions: what color shirt do I put on? Which shoes do I wear? Chicken or pork for dinner? The list goes on.

We decide all these things, and then life presents us with the big decisions: do I stay in this relationship or not? Do I make this career shift? Should I invest this money on this coach, this program, this retreat? Will it help me? What do I do?

On this episode of Our Conscious Playground we toss around ideas about decisions. Why do we find ourselves unable to decide sometimes? What affects our decision-making? 

It is possible to form a habit of making crystal-clear decisions, so what needs to happen for us to get there? 

Join us as we play with this real-world idea! You may hear something that helps you to decide, to get unstuck, to move forward.

Our Conscious Playground is a place to process. Tomás and Lisa bring real-world challenges here, real-life questions, and sometimes concepts and ideas to work through and to play with. In other words, we process.

Often times we bring a word. Today's word is "Processing."

What does processing look like to you, and what are you processing right now?

As we talk about processing and what goes into it for us, we discover that it involves not just a check-in (with your heart and head) but also an external component, i.e. will my decision be of benefit to others? Also, internally, we ask the question whether we are comfortable with the decision, and whether it resonates with us. Is it aligned?

Also, we need to give ourselves permission. We need permission to process. We need permission to take some time away from the world of daily responsibilities and deeply check in with ourselves. This can be playful if we want it to be, and it is always healthy! Un-processed items can really trip us up in life. As Lisa says, they can look like lumps in a lumpy rug.

This week in Our Conscious Playground we extend Love.

Actually, this is no different from any other week, but in this episode we delve a little deeper into what this means, and what this makes us think about.

As we often do, we begin by playing with words. What three words come to your mind when you think about extending Love? 

You'll have to tune in to hear ours...

A bit of backdrop: every time we show up in life, no matter what the situation, we are either extending Love or putting out a call for Love, and yes, we're capitalizing the "L."

So, what does it feel like to extend Love? What does it feel like to block it? How can we all enter and remain in this Flow?
