Most of us can recall a time where we either listened to gossip, spread gossip, or were the topic of gossip. Gossip is something that people in today's society look at as something fun and harmless to do with friends or bring up when the conversation is lacking. As Christians, we are to live differently and stand apart from this world. There are many verses in the Bible about taming the tongue and how our words hold so much weight. If you are wondering if gossip is actually a sin, or how to recognize gossip in practical ways, this episode is for you!

Dear Christian, this world would try to trick us and make us believe that is normal to take excessive care of our physical appearance, and that we need to follow a certain pattern of beauty, but the Bible tells us that beauty is vain because it passes away, it says that our bodies will age and perish.

Remember what Pauls says in 1 Peter 3:3-4 “Do not let your adorning be external — the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear — but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious”

Reading the Bible every day is a discipline that many Christians aspire to do, but sadly, many do not. If you would like to learn practical things to start doing to make Bible reading a daily reality for you, TUNE IN! 

We would also like to emphasize that daily Bible reading is not something that we do on our strength, but only by the power of the Holy Spirit who lives inside of all believers. You can do it, dear brother or sister, because of the Holy Spirit within you! Be encouraged because the Lord gives you the power to dive into His Word daily.

Let's be real. Most Christians have had a time where we have neglected reading the Bible simply because we do not desire to in that moment. Maybe this phrase sounds familiar to you: I don't FEEL like it. Today we want to speak specifically to the person battling with the spiritual discipline of reading Scripture. We can feel encouraged because as Christians, we do not rely on our own strength, but the strength of the Holy Spirit within us.

There are many ideas about dating in our society. Some might think that dating is a status they should stay in until they figure out if they like this person enough to commit to her or him. But as Christians, we should not date like the world. We see dating as a process of evaluation that has movement towards an end: marriage.
