Whenever I come across business advice that I’m deciding whether or not if it’s relevant and supportive for me and my work I ask myself two questions:

Do I have their day? And do I want their day?

Because the real question isn’t: will this strategy or approach work?

But instead, will it actually work for me?

Over and over again I come back to the reminder that our day is the whole damn point.

Because that’s the beating heart of a simple and spacious business: doing work we enjoy, spending our days and weeks at a pace that feels good to us, and where we are making enough money to sustain our life too.
