Senior Minister, Austin Weece | October 5th, 2025
Numbers 13:26-33, Joshua 2, 6:22-25
A messy story of fear (the spies), redeemed by surprising courage (Rahab).
Good stories have a foil—a character who stands in contrast to the protagonist. The courage of Rahab, the unlikely hero of the story, stands in contrast to the initial fear of the spies. On the other side of the story is a renewed courage to step into obedience. And, in the end, she is honored as a mother of Jesus.
