The gospel message often appears foolish to a world that values human wisdom and intelligence above all else. According to Paul in 1 Corinthians, what seems like foolishness is actually God's power and wisdom at work. Many reject Christianity because they expect God to work according to their understanding, but Jesus came in unexpected ways - as a baby in a stable rather than a mighty warrior king. God deliberately chooses what the world considers weak and foolish to accomplish His purposes. True faith requires childlike wonder and trust, not intellectual understanding of every mystery. Salvation comes through recognizing our need for a Savior and surrendering our lives to Christ, not through our own wisdom or good works.
