"Losing your father can make you change as a man, in fact it forces you to transition from boyhood into manhood. Many take for granted how much their father loves them, but it's only when you look back in hindsight that you realize how much he sacrificed to protect you and your well being. I know not everybody has an amicable relationship with their father but if you're going through a rough patch right now my advice to you is this, do not become angry or critical of him for it may result in a severed relationship and wasted time... time is something that we cannot get back.

May you rest in peace Dad, I will forever miss the late night talks and the advice that you gave me in my most trying times, we were there for each other when we needed it most and i'm so glad we had the relationship that we did. I am determined to make you proud and will stop at nothing to become the best man I can be. One day we will meet again and watch the ocean waves crash once more.
