In the book Pilgrim's Progress we meet Mr. Talktaive. A man whom Christian and Faithful meet on their journey between the Valley of the Shadow of Death and Vanity Fair. Though Mr. Talkative loves talking about spirituality, religion hasn’t affected his heart or lifestyle. Let's take a look at this character and how we can avoid becoming like him.

As Christians we have a mission. There is something we should be doing as the followers of Christ. During His life, Jesus was preparing his church to rise and shine for Him. Let's look at what the Bible says about being a light to the world.

This message will be proclaimed to all nations, kindreds, tongues and all people. The Bible teaches that judgment begins before Christ's return. When is this time? Can we be ready? Like the Philippian jailer, we all need to ask what we must do to be saved? The answer is in Jesus. There is a separation that sin creates between us and God. By acknowledging our sinfulness and coming to Christ, the Lord provides a bridge back to Himself. We must have faith and believe in what God can do for us.

Sometimes the fate of empires and the destiny of individuals rests on a simple word. Profound decisions are revealed by the little word "wait".
