Our HodgePodgecast

In this episode we talk more in depth about what Adam has been up to since we started this journey and what his plans are for when we arrive on PEI. After 20 years in the business and lots of unique experiences he is ready to use all of his knowledge to support our future plans, and to share that with businesses on the Island that might need his help.

In the fourth episode of the SquarePegCast, we hope to talk about Covid-19 for the last time! We just got our first round of vaccination and we wanted to record our thoughts and feelings about it all! We are hoping that this will be the start of getting back to life as normal and this will make our upcoming move from the mountains to the red sands of PEI, much more easy and less stress educing.

Its been a long haul the last 16 months and it finally feels like its coming to an end...we also have some thoughts on what reopening plans look like in some of the provinces across the country.

This episode celebrates a milestone in Adam's Culinary Career...10 years as a Red Seal endorsed Chef! Its been a long journey so far...and there is still lots more to travel. Industry experience, Culinary School, Apprenticeship...all of those steps led Adam to completing his RSE (Red Seal Endorsement) on April 30, 2011.

This episode we talk all about changes and challenges. In our new adventures as entrepreneurs we often have little daily or weekly wins when it comes to our day to day work. But there are also times when we face challenges involved with our life changes

Covid of course, has changed everything and presented a lot of challenges. When we talked it out, it seemed like it was actually most of the challenges. So when the world goes back to normal... watch out, because we are going to be ready to rock!

In the second episode of our SquarePegCast series we, talk about Binge Watching! All that time at home over the past year and the beginning of this year, has most likely upped your time in front of the TV, seeking comfort in it's basking glow, laughing along with the comedies you haven't had the chance to watch, wincing at the soulless murderers on your favorite crime drama that you have seen 2-8 times already, or watching movies and their sequels back to back to get the full essence of the whole story.

Whatever you watch and how ever you watch is a very personal thing haha...and in this episode we are chatting about our binging habits, our favorite shows to watch together, and our limited experience in "going to the movies".

We had to have an episode where we talk about our cats...so get ready to listen to us chat about the other half of our little family. AJ & Tucker, our little fur babies, just turned 3 on April 1st (our little April Fools) and bring so much joy into our lives! In 2020, we spent a lot of time at home....with the boys...and we might have turned them into cute little monsters! Now, we might have to spend the rest of our lives no less than 5 meters away...or find some way to transport them around with us everywhere we go!

We hope we don't sound like crazy cat people...but we might be a little bit...either way...we hope you enjoy the show!

In this episode we chat about our upcoming move from YYC to PEI. We are still more than 5 months out, but we are planners! So, we have already gotten several quotes on the cross-country move, spoken with PEI Real Estate agents, and reached out to some really amazing Islanders who are so generous with their time and advice.

Think of the LifeCast as sequel to our Origin Story Series. We will try to keep it to our relationship, families, milestones...things that relate to us as everyday people, in our day to day life's.
