Memorial Day is dedicated to honoring the sacrifice of those who served and died so that the rest of us might enjoy the blessings of liberty. If the Chinese Communist Party has its way, though, this one might be our last.

That ominous possibility was a takeaway from a webinar last week featuring members of the Committee on the Present Danger: China discussing evidence that the CCP is now actively mobilizing for war. Particularly chilling is a videotape reportedly of a high-level planning session in China’s Guangdong Province indicating Chinese leaders are preparing to attack, not just Taiwan, but apparently us – and plan to do so within months.

Some are questioning the credibility of this video. Others, like Secretary of State Tony Blinken, act like it doesn’t exist. That’s malfeasant, and it will inevitably invite Chinese Communist aggression, to our mortal peril.
