Our Midnight Cake: Discussion Series

On Doug's recommendation, the friends and trans dimensional beings take a dip into the world of famed horror mangaka Junji Ito, with the most recent adaptation of his work - Junji Ito Maniac, Japanese Tales of the Macabre. This is a series Doug has been interested in since it was announced, however, in a bizarre twist, Doug is nowhere to be found for the discussion.

In celebration of their achievement, the friends and trans-dimensional beings join together in the Nexus of Realities to discuss the movie that brought them together; the 1998 cult classic comedy BASEketball. Directed by David Zucker, and starring Trey Parker and Matt Stone, BASEketball is a sports comedy satire for the ages.

In this tragic comedy, it's one friend giving the other the finger... repeatedly.

Yes, Chef! The Menu satirizes the various elements of elitism, and it does so with a grotesque beauty and humor rarely experienced in modern cinema. Major spoilers ahead!

If you have ever wondered how bad a movie had to be to sink a production company, Masters of the Universe (1987) has you covered. Movies like this are phenomenal fun to goof on.

Finding themselves in a bit of a flop trend, the trans-dimensional friends meet in the Nexus to discuss The Northman, directed by Robert Eggers.

The trans-dimensional beings are back in the Nexus to kick off their third season of discussions! Setting the tone for the season? Black Adam!

Experimenting with a new, shorter format in the Nexus brings Sultis and Beaches together, to discuss whatever is on their minds.

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! To banish those post-holiday blues, Sultis, Beaches, and Lumberdore discuss one of Lumberdore's favorite Christmas movies, Santa's Slay. It is technically a movie.
