it takes in terms of commitment and sacrifice to see the Gospel go forth and God’s Holy Church established.
Metropolitan Yohan brings a radical and challenging call for the Orthodox Church to embrace missions as it once did so the whole world may share the hope we have in Christ.
In this podcast, “Our Orthodox Missions Moment,” Metropolitan Yohan tells it like it is with an encouraging, straight and radical challenge that goes to the very heart of the Gospel and the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ—that we must put into action what we say we believe in our hearts.
The words of St John Chrysostom still echo as clearly as when he first spoke them: “There is nothing colder than a Christian who does not seek to save others.”
May our God have mercy on us as we embrace what it means to truly follow Christ!
