Is there something we can do in participation with God, that will accelerate the manifestation of His will in our lives? If so, then what would it be? Everything concerning the Kingdom of God in the earth is His to give and ours to manage. Over one quarter of Jesus teachings as outlined in scripture had to do with investment, stewardship and responsibility. It dealt with the investment of time management, seed time and harvest and financial accountability with resources. Stewardship is an uncommon word today. A steward owns nothing but has access to everything. When it comes to salvation, mankind can take no ownership in that. Had Christ not come, and died for our collective sins, we would still be outside of the Covenant. It is all Christ. No man can claim the credit. While it is true that we have been saved from so much, we have simultaneously been saved for a purpose in this life. We are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. We have been blessed with all spiritual blessings. It is to be emphasized that we are saved by grace and not of works, it is a gift. It is of the Lord. It was his idea. We have been forgiven, but is there something we can do with our lives? Is there more to our lives now? Jesus provided for our salvation, but there are things we can do that will aid in our transformation. Romans 12 tells us that we are to be renewed in our minds and our hearts. We are not to be conformed to this world. He has done the work on Calvary that we were unable to do for ourselves. What is our response to so awesome a gift? What do we do with the lives that he gave us?
