The purpose for which Christ has come was to redeem His people, but He executes that work of redemption as Prophet, Priest, and King. In the Baptism of Jesus, the Temptation of Jesus, and the Preaching of Jesus, we will clearly see that Jesus Christ is the ultimate Prophet, Priest and King, who has come for the salvation of His people.
