In some circles, Colossians 2:15 is interpreted to mean that Jesus went to hell after His crucifixion and beat up the devil to recover mankind’s lost authority over creation. But the Bible doesn’t support this interpretation at all! Instead, it says that we have been delivered from Satan's power by nothing more or less than the blood of Jesus Christ!
