When you begin your home search and start looking at homes with your Realtor it's important to have a keen eye and know what specific things are important to observe and asses that if overlooked, could be costly to fix. This is not meant to replace a thorough general home inspection by a licensed home inspector; this is what to look out for before you even submit an offer. As a first-time home buyer you may not have the experience or know-how to know what specifically to look for but fear not, we've got you covered in this episode.
In this episode Salud and Sebastian will discuss several things to look out for when looking at homes.

Climate change has been a hot topic (pun intended) for quite some time. You may have seen recent documentary films about it and it was even a big topic of debate in our presidential election last year. And in our line of work, we often get asked the solar panel question when helping our clients buy or sell- and that is whether or not we think it is a good idea to install solar panels or buy a home with solar panels. Put simply, the question is- to solar or not to solar?
In this episode Salud and Sebastian will discuss the pros and cons of solar system panels, in their experience.

As a real estate agent, I talk to a lot of local home owners as I prospect for off-market homes for our Buyers. Most of the time they express not wanting to sell but are interested in buying. What's holding them back is the perception that they'd have to dish out a 20-25% down payment on a second mortgage.
In this episode Sebastian shares some great advice on how to navigate buying rental property one primary home at a time.

This year’s record-low mortgage rates sparked high demand among homebuyers but the lack of homes for sale makes finding a home to buy today challenging. With an obstacle like this, those searching for their dream homes may be pressing pause on their searches as we approach the end of the year, but that could be a big mistake for many hopeful house hunters.
In this episode Salud and Sebastian will discuss why waiting may not be the best option.

This year has forced a lot of us to work from home and I’ve had plenty of conversations with friends and family regarding having to adapt to this new normal that is not normal. Going to work for a lot of us now looks like sharing a dining room table with your significant other, both on your laptops, trying not to interrupt each others Zoom meetings, and falling in the trap of bickering, getting on each others nerves, the list goes on- do you feel me?!
In this episode Salud shares her best tips on how to work from home with your significant other.

It's that time of year, folks! Time to reflect, assess, and plan for 2021! I am still consistently shocked to hear that so many people are not taking the time to celebrate their wins, assess what went well, assess what didn't go so well, and plan for the new year. Whether you are thinking of starting a business or side hustle, it's extremely important to know how you are making money, where you are spending that money, and if you are saving any of that money, so that you can invest in yourself, invest in your business, and of course- invest in real estate.
In this episode, Sebastian will discuss 3 different categories in business to pay attention as well as share some helpful tips.
