Today, we have two treats for the price of one.  First, Lonzie took audio footage of what the homestead sounds like from the inside.  You heard a while back what the farm sounds like, now Lonzie will show you the inside of the house.  As I write this, he has fallen asleep in front of the computer.  Sometimes, as he edits clips for me to upload, he falls asleep like this.  However, he missed one, so I took this for myself.

It's been a great Saturday, but crazy Saturday around the Homestead.  We've reached the point that not even the military school can handle Cody, so he's now going to be moving into a group home.  Lonzie and I have just returned from an evening drive.  It's so soothing to get into the car, and drive.  We took my car, but Lonzie doesn't like it because it's a stick shift, but it rides really well.

Happy Friday to one and all!  We've done alot around here, and we wanted to show you some clips that Lonzie compiled.  We begin with Lonzie checking on the kids, then making coffee.  As I write this, Rich is pacing the floor.  We told you about Cody, whom we had to send to Militarry school because he wouldn't listen, now he doesn't want to come home.  He's angry with us in general, and me in particular.  I can only pray that his heart will be softened towards us.

It's friday night, and we're taking in a ballgame!  We've not done this in quite some time.  Lonzie gorged himself on items from the concession's stand, as did we all.  It's so great to have football back for another season!

It's been a happier day here at the homestead!  DJ has been having problems in school, but I'm happy to report that he did better today!  we've figured out what his issues are, and we'll use what we learned to help him.  We also went to dinner tonight, it was very delicious.

I'm so greatful that Lonzie made me that strong cup of coffee this morning, because I really needed it today!  DJ had another bad meltdown today, his meltdowns are getting worse.  Lonzie and I are thinking that home school is probably going to be the best option for him.  We'll keep you posted on how he's doing.  Kevin and Kalvin are doing well also.  They love coffee, just likd Lonzie does.

Autumn is on its way, but we still enjoy  having fun in our swimming pool.  Here you can hear the entire family splashing and frolicking around.  The water is fine, and we love to swim, as well as just hang around the pool.

Lonzie took this audio of our farm!  Here you can clearly hear the sounds of nature, and all the work we do.  In addition to the work recorded here, we're in the process of gathering copious amounts of wood for the coming winter.  Please enjoy this tour of our farm

One of my favorite activities of the day, is making lunch for the kids.  There's just something soothing about it.  I love putting the sandwiches, chips and other snacks, and the drinks as well.  Lonzie will sometimes help me, if he wakes up early enough, but otherwise, making lunch makes me so happy.

Good Morning everybody!  Another morning has dawned here at the Homestead!  We left you last night with recordings with us sleeping, now, here's our wake up routine.  The bed was so comfortable last night that we didn't want to get up, but we have to begin the day. Work, do chores, and have fun.
