In this final fertility episode of Season 1 I share the last part of my modern day family creation story – our process of surrogacy. To help me in this candid conversation about the ins and outs of surrogacy, I asked my best friend, Nubia, to join me again to talk about this personal moment in my life. To pick up where we last left off in my story, we had gone through many rounds of IVF, experienced several miscarriages plus our second trimester loss of twins, ultimately went on to international adoption of our first son from Kazakhstan and then tried IVF one more time which led to me carrying another set of twins this time to term. We wanted to grow our family but carrying another pregnancy was not feasible for us. Tune in to this episode to hear the entire process of surrogacy from the moment we made the decision to pursue this path to the successful birth of our twin boys.
