Our Take: Midstate Corridor (again), Bombers baseball and the Jasper mayor's first state of the city address

Listen Later

Thanks for joining us again. For those of you that listened to the last episode, this may seem a bit familiar but we thought it was a good idea to come back to a big topic, the Midstates Corridor.
The group conducting the tier one study to determine what route the interstate will take held a series of three meetings this week. Matt attended the Jasper meeting and he gives some behind the scenes details while Curtis realizes how close the highway could come to his family property in Orange County.
Also, a couple of Dubois County Bombers are doing really well in Division I baseball this season. Nick Gonzelez and Tanner Craig are both leading the league in different stats. Gonzalez has a healthy lead with RBIs and his on-base percentage is .698, third in Division I. Gonzalez and Craig also hold the one and two spots for homers with 7 and 6 respectfully. Both played for the Bombers in 2018.
We also discuss Jasper Mayor Dean Vonderheide's first State of the City address. We heard what keeps him up at night and what helps him sleep as he leads the city in his first year after being elected to office.
Give us a follow and a shout out if you like what we are doing. Let us know if there is something you want us to cover.
