: This message gets into the ages of the Earth and how the description of creation in Genesis One, is only part of the story
What people believe is very controlling. It provides direction in life but how we come to believe what we do is seldom ever thought about. People were taught that the world was flat and that was the primary reason that they congregated in Europe and Africa instead of exploring the earth. Even after Columbus proved it is round many refused to believe any differently. They were unaware that the Old Testament in Isaiah described the Earth as a circle, see 40: 22.
In this message serious consideration is given to the additional information in Second Peter describing a previous Earth that went bad and how God recreated it.
Salient Points: Why we age, Circumcision, God’s interacting creation, Signs of things to come, God is directly involved, God doesn’t need our approval, New creatures in Christ Jesus, Starting over again and again, A new Earth, Scientific guessing games, Hidden from the wise and prudent, God’s objective, Why we are fearful, Who is more important you or God, Curiosity, God is emotional, In the beginning, How old is the Earth, Just like children, Water is very significant, Seas are very different, The Great Deeps.
Scripture: Lk. 2:21, Col. 2:9-13, 1Ptr. 1:22-23, Rev. 21:1, 2Ptr. 3:5-6, Gn. 1:1-10

This message is a study of how God has established a pattern of sevens and how they repeat to help us understand future events in God's plans.
Many times we ask, "Why God" but that is our way of questioning God for something He did, or allowed to happen to us. We fail to realize that what we are actually doing is questioning God's judgment. What we should be questioning is God's motive instead.
Throughout scripture God sets the stage and then lets us make a choice. Why put a tree of death in the garden? Why did God challenge Satan in the matter of Job? Why does God allow good to suffer at the hands of evil? The question should be: God will you help me understand you better, to be able appreciate your genius.
Salient Points: If God defends you, Sin is against God, Our Fathers ways, What’s important to God, God’s week, Pentecost, A study of God, Seven months, Why sevens, God wants to see what we will do, Individual responsibility, Taste and see, Don’t put that in your mouth, Seven years, Not enough room for the books, Seven times seven years, The year of Jubilee, Going home after a week of thousands, Preplanned, Fearful and without faith, Seven music notes, Seven colors, Our beautiful blue sky, Color of light, In God’s image, A new you every seven years, Study God’s ways.

In this Sunday evening message the common mistake that everyone makes that gets them into trouble is considered, along with how to avoid this trap.
Have you ever wondered what could have happened to someone who was very well respected and yet had fallen into some unimaginable immoral sin that destroyed their lives? Had a set of circumstances driven them to do things that were out of character for them, or was there a temptation so great that they were unable to resist it?
A neighbor three doors down with a wife, a home and two small children working as a prison guard lost everything when he was caught smuggling things in for prisoners. What led up to this decision? Is there a simple answer? In a word, yes.

This second part considers how and why God created a seven day week and considers why He established a day that begins at six each evening rather than at midnight.
A major error in attempting to understand future events is using our own understanding of how we do things rather than studying what God created and why. How did it become accepted that Sunday is a day of rest when in reality it is Saturday that is a day of rest.
More than likely it is because the events that established the New Testament Church took place on the first day of the week. Jesus was raised on the first day of the week, early believers meet on the first day of the week and the Holy Spirit came on the first day of the week. God established the first day of the week as a day of new beginnings, a fresh start, a day of change.
If we are trying to understand God’s timing we should study the schedule that He established and work from there rather than search for supporting evidence to reinforce our opinions.
Salient Points: Stay alert, Too busy, Yea hath God said, Question yourself, The first day, Children of the day, How important is the Rapture to God, In need of patience, On Sunday God created, The frozen deeps, How big is God, God does as He pleases, On Monday God created, How God counts a day, Tuesdays creation, Wednesdays creation, Secrets of the universe, Pure truth of scripture, It’s all been designed, Appreciating God, Look for God’s purposes, Thursdays creation, Fridays creation, Work from God’s schedule, Seek truth not proof text.

This first message in this series considers what brought about the Church age and subsequently the Rapture of all the Saints in Christ Jesus.
Biblical scholars have tried for years to unlock the mysteries that God has hidden in His word only to be frustrated by events that followed. Some even making bold statements such as, if Hitler isn’t the Anti Christ I’ll quit the ministry, or in naming a specific date that the Rapture will take place.
These errors start with an idea and then research is done to find supporting proof text. At some point they come to believe so strongly in their idea that they develop a following as they convince others that they have solved some great mystery. More than likely they don’t teach what Jesus said in Mathew 11:25, “I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.” Or in 1 Corinthians 1:26-29; “For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.”
In Matthew chapter 11 John Baptists disciples came seeking answers to God’s mysteries and near the end of his explanation Jesus said, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me”. By saying that he gave us a hint of what we should be looking for, that being how God has chosen to do things, where his interests are, what schedule he is working on and how he benefits from doing things in his own way.
Salient Points: Why should God bless us, Wanting to be loved, The controlling power of oil, Discretionary income, What most billionaires want, The Jews first mistake, The Old Testament, Keeping the law, The thirteen’s, Romans 8:28, Nine the number of blessing, Are the scriptures complete, Israel’s first sign, Feeling alone, Provoked to jealousy, Writers without understanding, The night watches, The morning light for Jews, The Spirit of slumber, Senses shut down during sleep, What God can hide from us, Only God can protect us, Seeking truth to benefit God, A study of God’s ways, Jews lack of response to Jesus, Rapture schedule, Oil fields, Gods way will and time, Study God’s ways.

This message looks into several unique places in scripture that reflect the events and attitude of believers nearing the time of the Rapture
To say that the Bible is a most unique work is an extreme understatement. The number of writers is still unknown and during the time period from the book of Job, around 1520 BC up to the first mechanical rapid printing, of the Gutenberg Bible printed around 1455 AD it was copied over and over by hand which should have produced a work of contradictions and provable errors but it hasn’t. Oh yes it has a vast number of critics who think it has errors and many today believe they are qualified to correct the mistakes, but this has produced well over 600 other English versions, all of which conflict with each other in a variety of ways. So why is it that with all those competitors The Authorized King James Version, which is now over 400 years old stands out from all the rest? Simple, “It’s the one that works”. That was Charlton Heston’s statement when he was asked why they chose it for the movie Ben Hur. That is also the testimony of millions who have experienced its life changing power. Although a more accurate answer is found in its own pages; Psalm12:6-7, “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever.”
Salient Points: God’s recycling food supply, He made the stars also, Missing the glory, Hidden salvation, Seeking after God, Inventing religions, God’s different standards, Jealous Jews, How to know you are saved, Changed vs doing, Eternity is way too important, Hidden from the Disciples, The sleeping Church Age, God’s wake-up call, Come forth, Come up hither, Sleepy believers, The joy in the morning, Seeking God’s why, God’s layaway.
Scripture: 1 Thess. 4:13-5:5, Mk. 13:31-37, Rom.11:1-3,7:11, Ps. 30:5

The coming rapture is one of the most exciting and mysterious events described in the bible. The magnitude of this event has yet to be clearly understood. Will graves open like the open tomb? What will the extent of the ensuing chaos be when people around the world just instantly disappear?
Paul wrote to the Thessalonians, For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God. Then John on Patmos wrote, Behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and immediately I was in the spirit. Of the coming two witnesses we read, and they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud.
There is an obvious connection here which is discussed in this message but as you can see by the points listed below, there is much more.
Salient Points: Miraculous healing, Talking lightening, When God seems distant, When little is much, God’s warning for the last church age, Does God really care, Draw nigh unto God, Our selective interest in God, When God shows up, Unprofitable service, Seeing the Artist, Hidden details, Sacrificed animals in Heaven, Our unlimited God, Beheading in the future, Placing the mark of the Beast, Trying to outsmart Jesus, What Jesus wrote on the ground, Come up hither, The instantaneous trip, Made for God’s purposes, Glorifying God, Like the Moon, Like salt, Enthusiasm for God, Miracle food, The Trump of God, The Bible is about the knowledge of God.

"God moves in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform” is a phrase many have heard and truly some of the events discussed in this message will help confirm these words.
Many of the events described in scripture are truly phenomenal and without faith they become impossible to believe. Even believers don’t consider them much more than just interesting stories. The truth is that God intentionally leaves out nearly all of the real interesting details surrounding them. Such as; how did Jesus disappear and walk through a crowd without bumping into anyone, or what did the disciples see happening as Jesus kept passing out fish and bread to five thousand. Those who are curious imagine the details behind these miracles. In fact Psalm 111:2 tells us, “The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein”.
This message is a continuation of the four watches, the two witnesses and was brought on Father’s Day but as you will see it goes far, far beyond that.
Salient Points: Why sporadic scriptures, More than appears, Eternal God and His Word, God the Father’s Day, What impresses God, Seeing God, Where God enjoys Himself, Mystery of Elijah, seek and find, Determining your will, God’s unlimited options, A double curse, Jesus primary ministry, Divide and conquer, Beheaded twice, Paul’s heavenly trip, Paul’s forced secrets, A God who enjoys secrets, A hint of Heaven, Walking on water and the Rapture, Our free Will, God in His stealth mode, Faster than a twinkling of an eye, God hides in plain sight, What is it all about, What God really wants from you.
Scripture: Zach. 4:1-4, 11-14, Rev. 11:3-4, Mal. 4:4-6, 1:1, Mat. 17:10-13, 17:3, Mt. 14:6-12, Mt. 14:23-29, John 6:17-21, Rev. 4:1-2, Rev.11:11-12,

This message explains clearly why it is so hard to live by faith and what all the Disciples failed to understand that caused Jesus to ask them, “Why are you so fearful? how is it that you have no faith?”
Faith is essential for living without fear. It allows us to venture into areas that are dangerous and still stay focused on a task at hand.
There are over 32,000 vehicle accidents daily in the U.S. but we calmly take to the road and trust other drivers to avoid us. This trust is developed through experience. The scriptures explain it as a progression, tribulation leads to patience which leads to experience and that leads to hope and faith is the substance of things hoped for; (see Romans 5 and Hebrews 11).
The more faith we have the less fear we feel and the more peace we enjoy.
For believers we are told that “without faith it is impossible to please God” and that God created everything for His pleasure, so it is impossible to accomplish the very reason for our existence without faith (see Revelation 4:11).
Salient Points: The lukewarm church, From serving God to serving men, Losing sight of God, Focusing on the local church, Doing right for the wrong reason, Why to do your best, For God’s glory, How God can benefit from everything we do, How much is God doing, Is God just in the good stuff, God the last resort, Focused on self, If God took away our problems, Look for God’s purpose in the problems, Realizing the lesson, Pray for a right response, Serving the Master, Wrestling with God, Prayers that are against God’s will, Peace from God not a lack of trouble, The way to live by faith, Let God work in you, The mistake of blaming the wrong source, Opposed to God’s will or getting in it.
