In this episode we look at Galton, a famous scientist and the cousin of Charles Darwin himself. Galton is criticised for the eugenics movement, due to the implementation of negative eugenics and enforcing laws to prevent certain people from having children in the 20th century. However, eugenics has also led to the invention of many pivotal inventions, such as forensic science (the use of fingerprints in particular), contraception and also the IQ test.
