I remember hearing Jerry Seinfeld say, the hard shows help you edit and the easy shows help you write. The only way to truly learn comedy is by doing it. Comedy is a language you learn by exercising it on stage as much as possible. Every experience on stage is a valuable experiment. So whether you kill or bomb you still learned.
