Georg Henry visited with  retired chef Graham Ross and Vanessa Buss about a new culinary program begining at the Boys and Girls Club of Western Lane County.

Following the information about the “Inspired Youth Culinary Academy” George visited with Boys and Girls Club Executive Director Vanessa Buss about their upcoming benefit golf tournament.

Emergency medical personnel in the Florence area arplanning an outreach over Memorial Day Weekend to promote safety on the Oregon Dunes.  Bob Sneddon checked in with PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Emergency Department Manager Megan

Bob then visited with Ross Kronert who is organizing the 2017 Rhody Show and Shine May 18th at Siuslaw Middle School for the Florence-Siuslaw Lions Club

George Henry visited with the Senior and Junior courts for the 117th Rhododendron Festival.  First up, Princess Adelaide Lake and Prince Billy Massey.

Lisa Utz, the Special Programs Director at Siuslaw School District 97J talked about efforts to broaden the number of services and programs for adults, those over 18, with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

George wrapped up with a visit with the Rhododendron Festival Junior Court, Aislynn Heady, Delia Quinn, Khloe Allen Smoldt, Preslee Wilkins, and Elizabeth Mae Harvey.
