There’s something so beautiful, challenging and tender building a blended family after divorce. 

Every family’s experience is different because each person involved in the forming of the new family unit comes with their unique experience of what led to it… parents and kids.

For the parents, we come with our own set of wounding, trauma, armour, perspectives and parenting styles to untangle within the new relationship.  

For the kids, they are learning to relate to the new parental figure while mourning the dissolution of their parent’s marriage. Plus add in new siblings and all the dynamics that can bring.

It’s a lot. 

But it’s also so healing, transformative, expansive amd supportive. 

 Michelle shares how they’ve done it over the last 10 years and Sandy shares how she’s newly navigating it in real time.
