What happens to your body after ten minutes of scrolling?
Uranus squares the Nodes on June 11, bringing a period of rapid change around information, perception, communication, technology, and the future we imagine together. In this episode of Our Waking Dream, spiritual strategist and leadership mentor Coco Swanson explores what happens when information enters the nervous system, how fear narrows perception, how curiosity expands it, and how to stay connected to yourself when the world feels increasingly loud.
Together we explore doomscrolling, overwhelm, uncertainty, possibility, resilience, and a few simple practices for emotional and mental hygiene during times of accelerated change. Because not every piece of information deserves residency in your nervous system. And because the future is influenced not only by what we consume, but by what we repeatedly rehearse, feed, and embody.

Pressure changes us.
It changes behavior. It changes perception. It changes communication. It changes how we treat ourselves and one another.
As Mars squares Pluto on May 26, many of us may notice ourselves becoming more reactive, emotionally charged, exhausted, controlling, defensive, or deeply certain that we are right and someone else is wrong.
This astrology tends to expose what happens inside us under pressure. Not just individually — collectively.
It reveals coping mechanisms. Fear. Power dynamics. Nervous system strain. The distance between who we believe ourselves to be and how we actually behave when stress intensifies.
But what if these moments are not only here to destabilize us?
What if they are revealing the exact places asking for more awareness, breath, honesty, responsibility, and humanity? This is a powerful time to notice where certainty hardens into judgment. Where fear constricts perception. Where we lose connection to ourselves, to one another, and to the possibility of real understanding.
In this episode of Our Waking Dream, spiritual strategist and educator Coco Swanson explores Mars square Pluto through the lens of pressure, shadow work, nervous system awareness, perception, ethics, projection, and conscious relationship during times of intensity and transformation.

We are living in an extraordinarily accelerated time.
Who's feeling mentally overstimulated, emotionally fragmented, creatively scattered, exhausted, flooded by nonstop information, or disconnected from what genuinely makes them feel alive.
Gemini season amplifies movement in the nervous system. Curiosity increases. Ideas multiply. Conversations speed up. Information expands. Possibilities branch outward quickly. This can feel inspiring, connective, imaginative, innovative, and creatively energizing — or it can leave the body fragmented, overstimulated, compulsively consuming input, and increasingly disconnected from coherence, regulation, and presence.
In this episode of Our Waking Dream, Coco Swanson explores the difference between overstimulation and genuine aliveness. She explores nervous-system fragmentation, emotional contagion, information overload, curiosity, imagination, micro breaks, pauses before input, and the importance of consciously restoring coherence in an accelerating world.
This episode includes practical reflections and embodied tools for nervous-system regulation, creativity, emotional steadiness, sensory awareness, imagination, relational presence, and restoring connection to what genuinely nourishes your body, mind, and heart.
What genuinely makes you feel alive right now?
What fragments you?
And what would happen if slowing down, breathing, wandering, imagining, connecting, and returning to your senses became part of how you restore clarity and coherence instead of merely pushing through overstimulation?

Does anyone else feel like reality is speeding up faster than the nervous system can comfortably metabolize?
Who else feels:
- mentally overstimulated, - emotionally flooded, - creatively restless, - exhausted by constant input, - or increasingly disconnected from what actually nourishes them?
As we move toward the Taurus New Moon on May 16 and Gemini season beginning May 20/21 — alongside Uranus newly entering Gemini — we’re entering a much faster era of human experience shaped by accelerating information, technological stimulation, nervous system overwhelm, rapid change, social complexity, and fragmented attention.
The deeper question becomes: How do we remain creative, emotionally alive, relational, grounded, and human while the world accelerates around us?
In this week’s episode of Our Waking Dream, Coco Swanson explores emotional overwhelm, nervous system regulation, embodiment, modern exhaustion, sensory awareness, emotional resilience, and the importance of building inner steadiness inside increasingly accelerated systems.
This episode includes reflections on:
- information overload, - emotional processing, - highly sensitive nervous systems, - relational health, - neuroplasticity, - the body’s intelligence, - and simple practices that help restore coherence, discernment, creativity, and emotional grounding during times of uncertainty and rapid change.

Are you feeling increasingly disturbed by the state of the world right now?
Leadership failures, media distrust, technological acceleration, visible cruelty, political division, and the growing sense that humanity feels ethically off can create a constant undertow of anxiety, grief, anger, and hopelessness in the body.
Many people are carrying collective stress, distrust in leadership, fear about the future, and nervous system fatigue without fully understanding how deeply it is impacting mood, focus, productivity, and sense of safety.
We are in the early years of Pluto in Aquarius, a long transit exposing corruption inside collective systems, technological ethics, social structures, and the ways humanity organizes power. Much of what feels disturbing right now is part of a larger dismantling.
In this week’s episode of Our Waking Dream, Coco Swanson explores ethical exhaustion, collective distress, and how to consciously work with the heartbreak of what feels deeply off. This episode offers embodied practices to metabolize emotional charge, reclaim personal agency, and participate in change from a steadier internal place.

Uranus has moved into Gemini—and we can’t rely on our thinking the same way. More input. More opinions. More speed. More confusion—personally and globally. Information is multiplying. AI is layering over everything. It’s getting harder to know what’s true.
Focus fractures. Decision-making gets harder. Even when you’re trying to stay grounded, things don’t land the same way.
This is the beginning of Uranus moving into Gemini—a shift that amplifies how we think, communicate, and take in information.
In this episode of Our Waking Dream, spiritual strategist and educator Coco Swanson explores how to work with mental overload by building internal coherence. You don’t need more information. You need a way to feel what’s true for you—even when everything around you is loud.

Who’s feeling a surge of passion, a pull in a new direction—and noticing it’s not landing yet? Ready to move… and it’s not holding? What’s activating in you and what your life can currently sustain aren’t matching.
That’s when things get forced, inconsistent, or draining. This is where we overextend or question ourselves. Not because the direction is wrong—but because the capacity to hold it isn’t there yet. Time, energy, nervous system, resources.
As Taurus season begins, the work shifts. From movement to stabilization. From starting to fortifying. Clear what’s outdated, regulate your system, and build something that can actually support what you’re stepping into.
In this episode of Our Waking Dream, spiritual strategist and educator Coco Swanson explores how to work with forward momentum without burning out—by strengthening the foundation underneath it. You don’t need to push harder. You need to make it hold.

How do you work with anger and passion in a way that creates forward motion — instead of shutting something down or taking you off track? When that energy rises, most people suppress it, project it, or feel it start to distort what they were about to step into.
This week, we’re working right at that edge. With the New Moon in Aries in conjunction with Chiron on April 17, the impulse to initiate meets the part of you that remembers when things didn’t land.
In this episode of Our Waking Dream, strategist & mentor Coco Swanson walks you through how to stay with that energy in your body, return to what’s in front of you, and use it to move forward — instead of letting it take you out.

What's shaken you to your roots over the past 7 years?
Work. Money. Your body.
What you value. How you live.
Things that once felt stable are unraveling. Thank you, Uranus, for rocking our Taurus boat, completing a cycle that's been disrupting stability at its foundation -- your resources,, nervous system, and values.
In this episode of Our Waking Dream , strategist and mentor Coco Swanson explores how to build stability now. Not through control, through coherence. Through resourcing our bodies and clarifying how how values have changed -- and aligning with them.

It’s easy to feel thrown off in relationships as we near our April 1 Full Moon. You might feel ready to move forward in your life — there’s energy, momentum — and at the same time something in your relationships is asking for attention.
Things might feel a bit out of balance.
You might notice questions around care — who’s caring for who, where you’re overgiving, where something feels uneven. Resentment can come up. Sensitivities. Old dynamics getting louder.
Thank this Full Moon for illuminating discord that’s ready to be harmonized before more movement.
This is forward motion — but not at the expense of your relationships or yourself.
In this episode of Our Waking Dream, Coco Swanson walks through how to keep your momentum while tending to what’s coming up — so what you’re building can actually hold.

Our Waking Dream is a weekly invitation to get curious about being human—and discover how much we can change about the way we experience life.
Why do we keep repeating the…
I'm Coco Swanson, a leadership mentor and spiritual strategist. Each week, we use astrology as a map of the moment, exploring what the planetary movements might illuminate about our lives, relationships, work, and the world we're creating together.
And then we experiment.
Drawing on nearly thirty years of work in human transformation, I bring together embodiment, emotional intelligence, energy medicine, movement, and imagination. We explore these things through experience, not just conversation.
We might move an emotion through the body, question an old belief, try a different response to conflict, or discover something wonderful about ourselves that we've been overlooking.
What we understand intellectually doesn't always change how we live. Sometimes we need to feel something, move something, or try something we've never tried before.
And what we practice within ourselves travels into our relationships, families, leadership, workplaces, and communities. Personal transformation and culture change aren't separate endeavors.
There's room here for depth, humor, mystery, and a little irreverence. We'll get things wrong, surprise ourselves, and keep learning.
Let's see what's possible.
