La'on Canabe is a Bisaya indigenous artist, tattoo artist, and community organizer in Oakland, CA. They founded Baranggay Oakland, a community collective with a mission of supporting global indigenous consciousness within urban communities. La'on also founded Austronesian Gathering, a monthly program within Baranggay Oakland where austronesian people can gather, build community, share stories and ancestral foods.
