The weight of parenting can be heavy. Whether they would admit it or not, most parents, at least at times, wonder if they are doing a good job. And in a culture where much is vying for the attention of parents and the affection of their children, how should godly parents engage, disciple, and train their kids?
This week, Peter, Aaron, and guest-hosts Tim Miller and Dashawn Cousins discuss what the Bible has to say about parenting, what parents should be most concerned with, patterns and habits to avoid (and ones to implement), and how to deal with feelings of failure around parenting in general.
“We’ve just bought the cultural norms. When it comes to dating, social media use, raising our kids - it’s like, well of course they have to do these things because that’s what the world tells us. We’ve become acclimated to it instead of asking the question why. ” ~ Aaron Currin
