Dr. Amerling is a native New Yorker. He graduated Stuyvesant High School, City College of New York, then earned his medical degree at the Catholic University of Louvain in Brussels, Belgium in 1981. Dr. Amerling’s work has been published as chapters in textbooks and in peer-reviewed medical journals. He has published numerous op-Eds and letters on health care economics and politics.
