Mike Sand, creator of Monster of the Week, joins us as a guest GM and we try out AGON by John Harper and Sean Nittner. In AGON, we become classical heroes of Greco-Roman origin. These heroes sail their way to the island of Kryos where they find the people of a coastal town besieged by pirates and harpies. Lykas earns leadership through mercy, Arcadia uses a makeshift harpoon, Di learns that wine can't solve all problems, Efimia has a crazy plan that just might work, and Ialmenes uses an old mirror as a laser pointer.

It's a return to the Polymer Labs and a revisiting of the Town Hall Archives and our heroes will put their people skills to the test as they try and see what official records are being swept under the rug. Isaac gets another phone number, Cernunnos looks up flood plains, Baerin reads through some microfiche, and Enif steals some official documents.

In Balenos' apartment, our heroes find some time to catch their breath and go over what they know. Past events both recent and old are reviewed for any chance at a key connection. Isaac brings Enif the essentials, Enif is understandably a mess, Baerin brings the dog, and Cernunnos gets mad when a visitor comes in through the window.

Munnsdale is an ever darkening place and danger is coalescing in the shadows. Our heroes do their best to resolve their personal troubles during what little peaceful time they can lay claim to. Enif risks a visit under cover of night, Baerin gets lost in a maelstrom of memories, Cernunnos is an invasive little shit, and Isaac makes a mistake that momentarily has him join the amnesia club.

While our heroes limp off to lick their wounds and seek answers, what have their malefactors been up to? Things are about to start changing in Munnsdale and they're certainly not changing for the better. Agent Mendez gets a new assignment, the Agency runs a few a tests, and a shadowy cultist prepares a gift.

The darkness in the woods has a shape now - a giant, yawning maw of void, deep within its darkest depths. And with a shape comes questions, and more investigation. Enif makes a new home, high up in a tree, Baerin laments the constant issues with his head, Isaac literally snaps Iris out of it, and Cernunnos forgets the flash is on.

Sunny, Juan, and Slick are three bears working on a score that will have them set for life. Just one last heist for the fabled Manuka Honey. Juan uses his feminine wiles with skill and grace, Slick does both donuts and carnage with equal panache, and Sunny displays a mastery of both being unhinged and a bear.

Our heroes are exhausted. They've lost the monster, shut down the concert, and suffered wounds both physical and mental. And yet they push forward to seek answers from the forest itself. Can they really expect to get anything other than more questions? Enif sets off on a quest to reclaim what they lost, Cernunnos makes excuses to claim what he needs, Baerin gets a little too close to the darkness, and Isaac calls on a ghost to calm him in a spooky situation.

The New Year's Celebration has begun in the park where our heroes desperately try to track down the monster before it gets away or causes more harm. But will their efforts only invite more harm to themselves? Baerin avoids an awkward accusation, Cernunnos displays his prowess at causing severe harm, Isaac is exposed to the soothing power of music, and Enif decides to give breaking and entering a try.
