The Backside Learning Center is an independent, non-profit organization building community and enriching the lives of equine workers and their families at Churchill Downs racetrack. The pair discuss the origin story of the BLC and the service that continues to this very day. 

With Pepper's Out of the Gate being inspired by horse country, the two discuss the importance of community building and support. Non-profits like the Backside Learning Center provide incredible opportunities to get inspired to work and share with others.
