This episode I talk about sexism and how it holds unrealistic standards of women! I covered this topic in a previous episode but I just love talking about it so much :) Sorry if the audio is all over the place, I am testing some new stuff out!
Book recommendation: Entitled- Kate Manne
Hey hey! Welcome to the 6th episode of Out of the Norm, today I'll cover the topic of ableism. I talk about the different kinds of disabilities and how to better approach them. I also am still learning about how to make the transitions smoother so don't be so harsh! As always, these are the articles I quoted some of my info from:

In the fifth episode of Out of the Norm I talk about conformity and what it can do to someone, examples of it, and have the first ever section of Keep it 100! It's a hodge podge of opinions and can tie into a lot of other social issues but I thought this would be a more unique issue to discuss. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys this episode!
BTW, I have an email address if anyone wants to reach out with some questions or suggestions. You can reach me at: [email protected]
Have fun listening :)
In the third episode of the podcast I go over the subject of sexism. A very heavy topic that will be covered in many episodes, but this just to start us off with! I will eventually get to the "Keep it 100" sections of the episodes, but lets work on the groundwork first (I promise i'll get on it!) Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys the third ever episode of Out of the Norm! -TW: Sexual assault is mentioned!
Books mentioned:

Girls and Sex- Peggy Orenstein
Good Sexual Citizenship- Ellen Friedrichs
In the second episode I go over more opinions/facts about Pride month and showing Pride! I talk a lot about relationships, Pride parades, and how LGBTQ+ individuals are affected on their day-to-day life. I'm super excited to bring everyone this episode, and here are some of the sources I quoted from this episode:
