Just like the Israelites had to go through the desert after escaping Egypt, we too must go through seasons of refining, trusting, and character-building. Using the temptation of Jesus and the story of 80 year old Caleb, Kent emphasises that even when God calls us to something, for example, be it starting a business, moving countries, or raising a family, we often look for a way out when it gets hard. But God's method is always through—because that’s where growth, dependence, and sanctification happen.The call is clear: Don’t return to what’s familiar just because it’s easier. Don’t trade your promise for comfort. Trust God to take you through—because Jesus is the way out, the way through, and the way in.------
