Due to the desire to escape, and a vague sense of inner awe filled exclusively by music, Dj Datch started getting closer to the world of clubbing. At first he was inspired to explore the different types of electronic music although passion leads him to a broader evolutionary path. He also started playing in the most important clubs of his native land, Sardinia.

His performances began to take an intense musical form of personal communication with the obsessive use of drums, almost like stabbings, in a progressive growth up to mesmerize the listener : explosion then restart.

Next step is outside Italy, turning a utopia into reality : Tresor Club in Berlin.

DJ Datch found a context of sound research, find a chemistry that makes developing a personal style characterized by techno sounds, dark and hypnotic in combination with hints of experimental dub.

In order to complete this journey DJ Datch experiences his first productions in 2011, focusing his energies into his dark style. Over the years, his music has been published on various labels including Kynant (as Black Sand), Attic Music, Natch Records, Att Series, Subsist, Par, Etichetta Nera, No Way Records

About the release:

It was back in 1993 when Steve Bicknell first resealed "Track 12" on Cosmic Records, 27 years later the veteran artists travels back in time and teams up with KR3 to re-issue this techno masterpiece, inclusive of three new interpretations and an original re-edit.

Out on September 27th both in vinyl and digital format, 27 symbolises a meeting point between past, present and future of techno. The music is there to remind us that time is circular, nothing is still and everything evolves.

A1 kicks off with a re-edit of the original "Track 12", a 6 minute long club banger that leads into a parallel dimension with its hypnotic synths and constant kick, where the perception of time widens and the mind travels freely.

In A2 JING's voice calmly ushers in this time-space excursion, like a lullaby gently taking the mind and body to spaces we don't see but we know exist. Just let it go, breath out all your worries and let the music

guide you through this journey.

Metro Skim marks his re-edit (B1) with dark and stripped-down sounds combined with intermittent high hats and bubbly synths, once again creating a circular, ever lasting effect of being pulled into and

endless spiral spinning round and around.

The journey ends with a re-edit by Heartless (B2), a itchy, fast and hypnotising gem. Modular reminisces soothe the spirit whilst a throbbing rhythm leads the way. Once again the vortex would seem to stop, but as the ticking time reminds us, to stop is just an

illusion.

@djchuha hails from the south of Munich and has been on a journey of musical exploration since 1998. He kicked off his career as a DJ in 2004 playing at countless gigs in and around Europe and India. Minjoon was fascinated by the joining of his painting awareness and techno sound. His theme consciousness is to find an ambiguous equilibrium point based on the extreme paradoxes of "Unfamiliar familiar" and "Autumn aesthetics". And it departs from pre-sound conversation. Ambiguous shapes and colours in images are not a visual sense, but appeal to another sense of energy.

Sound becomes another material with various colours in him. He likes to solve the story of music by the color and texture felt in the sound without entangled configuration of music. The sound that seems to be suppressed gives a feeling like falling into heavy water, but at a certain moment it is crying for the structural escape of the structure. Music is throwing a quiet question while finding a balance that never exists as another means of exploring his theme consciousness.
