We have invited Albert Chiovenda to give continuity to our

series of releases in cassette and digital format, under this

interesting series in which we previously published the

Portugues CRAVO last February, On this occasion the Sydney

native has worked for a total of 6 tracks that make up the 'A'

side of this work taken from the future, entitled 'Extravagant

Traveler' Composed of complex FM synthesis exercises,

classical percussions and environments from another Galaxy,

covering a wide spectrum of sound intentions, ranging from

melancholic to sonorous violent.

Chiovenda has been doing a variety of serious, interesting and

cutting edge work over the past few years, with major label releases and collaborations with artists like Stanislav Tolkachev.

In this second edition as we did in the first, we have decided

to invite great artists to remix the original tracks on the 'B'

side Border One, Viels, Inigo Kennedy, Divide and Alex Dolby

are artists and friends that we deeply love and admire. And

they have done a wonderful job that we are very excited about.

Each of them has captured his personal approach to the original

track obtaining incredible results.

About the release:

Ryabina - it’s a trio of improvisators from Yekaterinburg, Russia. Each of them is an accomplished musician, who published stuff on classic vinyl on russian and international labels.

The history of Ryabina started in 2017, when Igor Phoboz and Vadim Ronin started doing music improvisations with electronic devices. Home studio was on Ryabinina street and hence the name. Shine Grooves joined the group later.

Actually there was the fourth member of Ryabina: the cat called Pasha. He was a real member of the group during the improvisations: he pushed the buttons of the grooveboxes, walked across the synthesizer keys, he did a lot! All Ryabina self-released works were published with Pasha’s photos. Unfortunately he died in 2018.

P is for Pasha.

Рябина — это группа импровизаторов из Екатеринбурга. Её участники — состоявшиеся музыканты, за плечами которых виниловые релизы на различных российских и западных лейблах.

История Рябины началась в 2017 году, когда Игорь Phoboz и Вадим Ronin стали собираться вместе для спонтанных импровизаций. Дом, где они собирались, находился на улице Рябинина, откуда и пошло название коллектива. Позже к джемам присоединился Андрей Shine Grooves.

В составе коллектива был кот Паша. Он не просто присутствовал на джемах, но был полноценным участником во время записи — нажимал кнопки грувбоксов и шагал по клавишам, внося в музыку свой вклад. Его фотографии были обложками всех самостоятельно опубликованных релизов на саундклауде Рябины.

В 2018 году Паша умер из-за болезни сердца.
