Outlaws & Underdogs: Fallout 76 Stories

Here it is, Wastelanders! A day late but DEFINITELY worth it. In this episode, Mal wanders back once again to Morgantown, to interview Ranger Tom Houston, a survivor and patrol officer with the New Responders. He talks to us about his childhood, his close-knit sense of community in Vault 76 after the loss of his mother, his incredible experiences out in the Wasteland, and how the New Responders really are his calling. I’ve heard it said that folks have got to help each other out if we want to survive, but rarely have I heard it said so WELL. Exciting, emotional, funny, and with some damn good advice, don’t miss this episode of OUTLAWS & UNDERDOGS!!

Hey Wastelanders! To make up for there being a late episode of OUTLAWS & UNDERDOGS this week (health emergency! Watch for our regularly scheduled interview TOMORROW!) here is another bonus audio travelogue. Now you can follow Mal on his trip to interview RANGER TOM HOUSTON, with a recap of his RIP DARING journey, at your leisure!

Wastelanders, do I have a treat for y’all this week! On this episode, Mal tracks down the man, the myth, the legend himself: RIP DARING, of Astoundingly Awesome Tales fame. Do you want action and excitement, tales of adventure, and some surprisingly emotional depth? Look no further as Mal meets one of his childhood radio heroes, the famous cryptid hunter Rip Daring. Played by the utterly fantastic @CowboySpace_, Mr. Daring has a lot to say!

In this amazing interview, Mal is off to return to the Forest to see real heroism at work: ELIZABETH ROSEWAY, a Wasteland paramedic and private with the New Responders; out there stitching folks up and saving lives. It takes a strong will and a stronger stomach to commit to helping folks stay alive, and with her quick wit and quicker hands, Liz is a force to be reckoned with. Hear about it all as the incredible @GoddessNerd of the Fallout 5-0 is ELIZABETH ROSEWAY, on this week’s episode of OUTLAWS & UNDERDOGS!

Last week, Mal was captured by some shadowy soldiers and brought to an undisclosed location. THIS WEEK, all will be revealed as @BosunZest of Fallout 5-0 fame voices the man of the Mire: HARLAN KINCAID, of the Free States movement. Tune in to hear a whole new perspective on the Wasteland: an uncensored interview with Kincaid that reaches from the difference between helping people survive and helping folks learn to survive… all the way to whether or not the ends do justify the means. A sparking-hot-off-the-pip-boy discussion you won’t want to miss! [DISCLAIMER: for anyone who may find themselves curious, none of this discussion is based on/referencing current events. It’s a deep-dive roleplay that was an amazing chance to explore fascinating characters in the Fallout world with a gifted scene partner. Lol. Enjoy!]

What is going ON in this week’s episode of OUTLAWS & UNDERDOGS?! On his way through the Mire on what he’d assumed was a friendly interview, Mal is snatched by a squad of soldiers and brought to an undisclosed location… to broadcast an interview with a shadowy leader with a lot to say to Appalachia. Featuring guest voice BosunZest, the legendary Jack Ryker of Fallout 5-0 fame, this episode will have you anxious and wondering: what’s coming next week??

On our funniest episode yet of OUTLAWS & UNDERDOGS, Mal heads north of Toxic Valley to meet a late arrival just out of Vault 76! Listen to her story of shock and awe at the first sight of the Wasteland, her panicked run, and she wants to know just what’s up with all these bottle caps, anyway?

In this episode of OUTLAWS & UNDERDOGS, Mal heads west to talk to Crowe, the quartermaster and general tinkerer of the ARSN mountain rangers. This is an exciting and in-depth interview that I’m excited to share, a deep dive into what makes Crowe, a veteran of the Great War, tick.

For the very first episode of OUTLAWS & UNDERDOGS, Mal sets out to walk from the Cranberry Bog to the forest near Morgantown to bring you a fascinating interview with Sodapop: an ARSN Ranger with a past as… colorful…as his personality. Tune in your Pip-Boys, and hear Soda talk about his life, his ties to Crater, his hopes for the future, and some surprisingly vulnerable details— all of which make Soda’s interview a must-listen.
