Outrun the Bear

Poor Jacob.  He's been trying to purchase the Control game's art-book for ever.  It appears to be released in most places, but apparently not for him.  We discuss this and many other topics such as: game preservation, Cyberpunk 2077 completed by someone! (episode art is one of our characters) and some declarations that will rock you to your core.  Thanks for tuning in!

As usual we start off with what we've been playing and dive into some Nintendo Switch rumours and a PlayStation State of Play roundup and find new games to add to our ever growing backlog.

We talk about all the mistakes that Jacob made in the last episode and then take the time review the games we played. We then take even more time to unravel some of the major announcements that came from BlizzCon and a new Nintendo Direct.

In this first episode of the year we talk about current activities, plans for 2021 and Adam surprises Jacob with a "secret game" !

It's the time of year again!  Jacob and Adam review their list of games from 2020 that had the biggest impact on them.

1 year later and we're still podcasting! As a treat we've invited a friend on to talk about his experience playing Hades.  We also have our standard banter about the games we're playing which includes some initial thoughts about Cyberpunk 2077.

Join us as we discuss all the games we're playing and how they are all just Diablo with a different skin. We also continue to discuss the new console launches and a few other exciting game announcements.

Just in time for Halloween we are releasing our fantastic annual spooky... wait that would have been a really good idea.  But we did not do this - though we do talk about Phasmophobia, the scariest game either of us have played.  Adam discovers a new interest in stealthy games and we also cover the recent PS5 interface reveal that has introduced some interesting new features.

Jacob and Adam refrain from talking too much about Hades as Jacob is woefully behind on it but they still find time to cover other games they have been playing like Paper Mario.  They also take a look into the PlayStation 5 pricing announcement and compare the approaches of the two major console players.

You'll notice the improvements that have been made over 12 episodes of the podcast. It really shows.

Jacob and Adam continue to discuss their non paying affiliate Microsoft (not a thing) and their recent reveal of details around their new console and services.  They also discuss the recent reveals from Nintendo and catch up on their recent gaming including a few games that kept them up at night.

*Adam is very sorry for his poor audio due to a mistake in microphone selection but also Jacob did some loud mouse clicking and he's sorry too.  There's also a surprise baby heard in the background.  All around an exciting treat for the ears.
