Just before the season I caught up with one of New Zealand's up and coming basketball stars for a chat. 7 games in and he has just dropped the game of his career with 35 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals as the Auckland Huskies took the league leaders all the way to the finish line. It could be an exciting run to the grand final and a another showdown with the Manawatu Jets is on the cards in the big dance.
